E Minor Blues Scale

The Minor Blues Scale, usually just called the blues scale, is the Pentatonic Minor Scale with the flat 5th added: the "blue note". Passing through it between the 4th and 5th is the sound of blues, rock and hard rock soloing. It fits minor chords and, for a grittier blues sound, the dominant 7th chords of a 12-bar blues.
