Eb Major Scale

The Major Scale is the foundation of Western harmony. Its seven notes, a run of whole and half steps (W W H W W W H), give the bright, settled sound of countless melodies, from "Do-Re-Mi" to "Joy to the World". Every major key is built on it, and the chords it makes (I, ii, iii, IV, V, vi and vii°) carry most pop, rock and folk songs. Seen as a mode, it is called Ionian.
